Nude Gambling Not Allowed Yet at Canadian Casino
TORONTO, CANADA --
A couple broke the late-night calm at an Ontario casino early Friday morning as they streaked across the gambling floor. The two were apparently settling a lost bet, which required more than money to pay off.
Casino patrons were startled as a 21-year-old woman and 27-year-old man enterede the casino naked and raced through the slots. Unfortunately for them, casino security reacted swiftly, and the couple was apprehended and held until police arrived.
An appearance before a judge was scheduled for later in the day. Officials at the Thunder Bay Casino say its the first such incident they've had.
"That's the best floor show this casino has had in a long time," said frequent casino visitor Thomas Grandley.
While gambling venues generally consider the atmosphere sophisticated, and advertise themselves a la "whatever happens here, stays here," casino operators prefer that it happens behind closed doors.
