Game Operator King.com Expands Into Online Gambling
LONDON, ENGLAND --
King.com, one of the largest sites for online games in the world, has come to an agreement to host an online casino. King traditionally offers games of both skill and chance, but this will be its first foray into online gambling.
Net Entertainment's Casino Module will provide the casino software, having reached a licensing agreement with King to provide 60 casino games. The opening will occur sometime in the current financial quarter.
King already has over 18 million registered players, and expects that number to climb with the new additions. The site currently lists 21 puzzle games, such as "Deal or No Deal"; 17 strategy games, such as variations on Mahjong; 14 card games, like Hearts; 18 action games, like "Daisy Defender"; 9 sports games, such as nine-ball pool; and 8 word games like "Word Link".
King has clients in over 50 countries, and has over 150 million gameplays per month.
“Providing high quality entertainment to our players is imperative for us," said David Blomquist, Director of Business Operations and Games at King.com. "We chose Net Entertainment’s CasinoModule because we believe that their product best supports our continued expansion and the size of our business places quite stringent requirements on the platforms we work with.”

| I think that sites like Multigames.com and Miniclip will also take this road. I noticed that King.com has launched bingo. |
