Casino Robber Caught at Last in Montana
MISSOULA, MONTANA --
After months of undergoing repeated casino robberies, Montana finally could praise law enforcement officials for catching a robber. James Crandall, 34, was arrested on suspicion of robbing the One Eyed Jacks Casino in Missoula Sunday morning.
A man entered the casino shortly after one a.m. wearing sunglasses and a bandanna and carrying a shotgun. He had an attendant collect the money from the line of slots, and left.
However, he was spotted making his getaway on a silver bicycle. Police found the abandoned bike and disguise nearby, and established from street witnesses who to seek.
Earlier this year, at least ten casino robberies were pulled off in six towns, by a varying group of suspects. Almost all the heists took place in the wee hours of Sunday or Monday morning, and frequently the suspects, who always had a single weapon and came in groups of wither one or two, wore hoodies. Almost all incidents ended with suspects fleeing on foot, never to be seen again.
Now it can be seen that crack Montana lawmen have decided not to take anymore. No half-wit in a "look at me" disguise fleeing on a child's toy will escape Western justice again!
