Outraged Citizens Speak Against Kentucky Gambling Case
FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY --
Outraged citizens in Kentucky are sending email after email with questions and concerns regarding Governor Beshear's attempt to seize internet gambling domains. If the Governor has his way, the largest form of internet censorship in history will take place in the Bluegrass state.
"It is an injustice for the Government to tell us how to spend our money, when in fact, they don't know how to spend their own money. Beshear is purchasing a ticket out of the Office of Governor", says Pam McGinity, a concerned citizen living in Kentucky.
The protectionist policy to keep online casinos away from Kentucky is being pursued to benefit the in-state gambling venues. The entities to benefit most include the horse-racing industry, state-run lottery programs, and local bingo.
Pam McGinity went on to say in a harsh-tone, "I will not buy another lottery ticket, support bingo owners, or attend, or partake in a horse race again. I hope, all gaming that is "legal" [in Kentucky] shall fail, very soon. Then I would like to see the idiot Governor explain it all".
Online Casino Sphere has fully-endorsed the boycott of Kentucky gaming introduced by economist and gaming analyst, Sherman Bradley. The boycott may be the only way to show Kentucky politicians how the citizens feel about the issue.
The boycott includes refusing to attend races at Churchill Downs, as well as halting all bets with TwinSpires.com
Outraged citizens are encouraged to call the Governor's Office to voice their opinion.
