Illegal Immigration Stealing USA Casino Gambling Jobs
KANSAS CITY --
As big-business casino lobbyists move around the country, their sales-pitch for casino expansion usually follows a similar template - "The development of a new casino resort will bring more jobs to your area, help stimulate the local economy, and increase tourism figures".
This is what local town councils are hearing all over the United States. It's the major pitch by anyone who is trying to win a casino bid or convince a city to build a local casino.
After 18 months of analysis, its becoming more and more evident these new 'casino jobs' are not being filled by American workers. With a looming recession on the horizon in America, many illegal immigrants who came to the US to work the fields or take-part in manual construction labor, are finding themselves unemployed. Who is hiring them now? Big-time casinos, and that's hurting many Americans who once worked in this business.
Many of the new pitbosses and card-dealers in the large casinos are Mexican, and they barely speak a lick of English. Why are the casinos hiring these people over Americans? The reason is simple - money. Casinos can save almost 30% by hiring a Mexican worker to tend slot machines, or run money across the casino. Mexicans are also taking many of the hotel-related jobs in the casinos, as well as miscellaneous food service work. Many of the illegals are working for under-the-table cash.
The next time casino executives are in your area pitching more jobs, ask them who they plan on hiring, illegal aliens or Americans citizens. The local US gamblers will be paying their salaries.

We need to entirely bring our focus on the employers. This would be the most effective way to stop the hiring of illegals. If we collectively, and effectively, boycotted, and picketed, a large franchise business, or two, this would get the message out very quickly, and stop illegal immigration.
So, if we were to pick one flagrant national illegal immigrant hiring franchise employer, which one would it be. i know that Burger King, at least the one near me, has illegals working for them. Any other suggestions??

| I am not surprised a tiny bit. I have said over and over that illegal immigration is, 1) wage depressing,2)Steals jobs from Americans(you know, those people who have paid taxes for years supporting this nation)3)Culture destroying, every where illegal aliens go, Spanish mysteriously becomes a requirement to get a job. My Lord, Americans need to seriously become awakened to what is going on in the nation they inherited, if they care in the slightest. |

| Excellent comments! Nothing's gonna change until Boosh is out of office. Obama is as pro-lawbreaker as they get. McLame is as Open Borders as Boosh, or moreso if that's possible and he LOVES amnesty. So it's gonna be up to the individual states, communities and cities to get tough on illegals as is already happening almost everywhere. If we can only get CA involved, then they won't have anywhere else to go, but that ain't gonna happen with Ahnold in office. |

| The economy is directly connected to illegals. Imagine how many got subprime mortgages. Citizens have paid for foodstamps, health care, education and housing for 20 million foreign nationals. If we lose our jobs, who will support them? |

Illegal Immigration is the largest unfunded federal mandate - the taxpayer gets stuck with providing education, medical care, etc. to people who broke in here illegally. We have to pay for the criminal aliens who rape, murder, drive drunk to incarcerate them. Employers are the only ones who make out. The rest of us are stuck with the bill. Cheap labor doesn't translate into less expensive vegetables if you've noticed. Employers are addicted to the outrage of illegal immigration. They're the only ones who profit.
And NO on McCain, Obama or Hillary. They're living off of contributions from pro-illegal groups. |

Politicians in the United States on both sides of the political aisle have been largely unwilling to secure our borders and enforce immigration laws.
Don't look for Obama, Clinton or McCain to enforce immigration laws, they're all for open borders. The only hope we have is Ron Paul. If his name isn't on the ballot, write him in!

| the author is completely clueless!!Casinos must hire licensed ,investigated employees for all of the jobs he lists.In 29 years of casino employment,I have never met an "illegal",and have only known 1 foreign born person working here on a Visa.I am aware of a large amount of Asians working in LasVegas,but they all have Visas or have become citizens legally. |

| If you really want this stopped, you must call your Congress member and tell them to sign The Discharage Petition to get HR 4088 on the floor for a vote. Nancy Pelosi will not bring it to a vote because she is backing the Hispanic caucus that wants some type of amnesty. HR 4088 is authoried by a Democrat, Schuler, yet she is fighting her own Congress member. Ask yourself "Why Is That?" Isn't she suppose to be for ALL American citizens. DISCRIMINATION at it's worst. A high school graduate CANNOT get an entry leval job here in Las Vegas Casinos UNLESS they are bilingual Spanish speaking.....not even a job in McDonalds...so where are the fresh out of high school Citizens going to get a job?....When we had the Caucus here....they had them in the Casinos and all you had to do to VOTE was show your work badge.....Interpretors were needed cause they couldn't speak English...and nobody cares....
We have Harry Reid here who is vocal in protecting them and the Casinos... I wish ICE would come here.....Take your choice...ANY Casino....

After careful review, anyone with a even a modicum of logic can come to no other conclusion: illegal immigration must be halted, illegal immigrants here now must be deported and legal immigration needs decreased from the approx. 2 million allowed in per year currently.

A partial summary of the report:
The Fiscal Impact on 15 Federal Departments surveyed was: $346 billion in fiscal related costs in FY 2007
Each immigrant cost taxpayers more than $9,000 per year.
An immigrant household (2 adults, 2 children) cost taxpayers $36,000 per year.
Legal immigrants were not separated out from illegal immigrants for the fiscal impact study, but if they had been, the fiscal cost per ILLEGAL immigrant would be even more shocking than the figures quoted above.
The most extensive and authoritative study, prior to economist Edwin Rubenstein's "The Fiscal Impact of Immigration" (April 2008) , is the National Research Council (NRC)?s The New Americans: Economic, Demographic and Fiscal Effects of Immigration (1997).
The NRC staff analyzed federal, state, and local government expenditures on programs such as Medicaid, AFDC (now TANF), and SSI, as well as the cost of educating immigrants? foreign- and native-born children.
NRC found that the average immigrant household receives $13,326 in federal annual expenditures and pays $10,664 in federal taxes?that is, they generate a fiscal deficit of $2,682 (1996 dollars)per household.
In 2007 dollars this is a deficit of $3,408 per immigrant household.
With 9 million households currently headed by immigrants, more than $30 billion ($3,408 x 9 million) of the federal deficit represents money transferred from native taxpayers to immigrants.
Our national immigration policies have to work for the United States. While improving the plight of the world?s poor is a laudable goal, the finite resources we have available to fulfill that goal would be swamped if there wasn?t some orderly and manageable system in place to limit entry into the United States to what this nation can actually support. The more illegal aliens that are permitted to subvert the immigration system, the fewer immigrants we can accommodate who might actually produce a positive benefit for our country.
The more we become a nation of illegal immigrants, the deeper we fall into anarchy.

| This is simply a ludricous comment. The casinos make millions of dollars and would not jeopardize their gaming licenses by hiring illegal immigrants. The casino business is one of the most highly regulated industries in the country and it would be very difficult for an illegal to get a job at a casino. All employees are usually are required to have a back ground check by a gaming official, who is usually a gaming officer that has law enforcement authority. If you want to make a comment about illegals then make a comment, but do not throw out stupidity as fact. |

| Casino' do not hire illegals.....They simply lay off American workers, then hire foriegn workers for seasonal pay. (which is cheap pay) Casino' also DO NOT pay taxes on these working foriegners. (the foriegn workers does'nt pay taxes either.} |
