Century Casinos Back in the News
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO --
This week, Century Casinos (NASDAQ: CNTY) was back in the news as the company announced the hiring of new Managing Director Paul Campbell to lead operations in Africa. Back in March, the company announced strong 4th quarter 2007 earnings.
Working as Managing Director of Century Casinos Africa, Paul Campbell, who has been working as General Manager of The Caledon Hotel, Spa and Casino for 2 years, will be responsible for the management of Century Casinos' South African operations including The Caledon Hotel, Spa and Casino, Century Casino Newcastle and the food & beverage company Celebrations.
Paul Campbell has more than 16 years experience in the casino, gaming, and entertainment industry, where he held Management and Senior Management roles such as Director of Slots for Storm International in Moscow or Deputy Slots Manager for GrandWest Casino & Entertainment World, Sun International, in Cape Town.
In other Century Casinos news, Redchip Financial announced it has dropped research coverage of the company. RedChip's initial rating of "Buy" and target price of $9.00 are no longer active.
Century last traded at $3.41 on Friday afternoon.
