Blackjack Ace Launches New Fantasy Football League
LAS VEGAS, NV --
Jeff Ma, ace blackjack player and world-renowned card-counter, is starting a new fantasy football league embedded in the Facebook social network. As you know, Jeff Ma is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) graduate who was the focus of the recent movie '21', a drama involving a group of MIT braniacs who developed a card-counting system that led to huge profits in Las Vegas casinos.
The movie 21 was based on real life experiences of Jeff Ma and his MIT peers. The card-counting system involved counting cards during the game and well-thought-out schemes using multiple players at several different tables. They even used disguises to avoid the 'Eyes in the Sky', a group of consultants paid to identify card-counters at the casino.
With his tremendous success at MIT, and his huge profits in Las Vegas, Jeff Ma is taking another gamble as he announces his new fantasy football platform designed to operate within the popular Facebook social network.
Ma, and his company Citizen Sports, has partnered with Sports Illustrated to create the league. Sports Illustrated, a top-tier sports reporting magazine who has been in business for over 50 years, is taking its first step into the world of fantasy football. Fantasy football has been dominated over the years by sites such as Yahoo.com, ESPN.com, and CBS Sportsline, among others.
"The concept developed by Ma and his accociates is brilliant, bring the game directly to millions of active web site users on the most popular social network online", says Online Casino Sphere chief editor, Lee Rockwell.
The new fantasy football league will be an embedded application within Facebook, accessible to its millions of active users.
