WPT and GSN Launch New Website Togethor
LAS VEGAS, NV --
WPT Enterprises, parent company and operator of the World Poker Tour, has signed an agreement with GSN to launch a new website that features them both. GSN is a network television station that features many game shows and poker-related TV shows. The combination of the two will be called www.WPTonGSN.com
The new website is dedicated to providing information about the World Poker Tour as it relates to viewership on GSN. Website visitors can easily find the dates and times of all WPT events on GSN TV. In addition, visitors can view behind-the-scenes footage, player history, archived WPT Live Updates, statistics, as well as unique GSN content offerings.
Starting next week, GSN begins airing the 6th season of the World Poker Tour on Monday nights at 9PM eastern time. According to the company, GSN claims to have over 66 million subscribers with access to the cable television station.
The two companies will use the new website to help promote the tour. The plan is to use special promotions and incentives only available on the website including a new sweepstakes deal with Southwest airlines.
