Sportsbook and Poker Site Announce Single Sign-On
LONDON --
CryptoLogic, the online casino software maker who fuels online gaming sites such as Playboy Casino and InterCasino, announced today it has completed the full-integration of its online poker offering into Betsafe's eWallet payment center. As you know, Betsafe joined the CryptoLogic poker system back in January of 2007.
With the rollout of the newly integrated system, Betsafe players will only need one login account for gambling in the network. Prior to the integration, Betsafe's poker logins would not authenticate in the sportsbook site.
The ability to need one login account provides a seamless and enhanced Internet experience for Betsafe gamblers, as well as improved synergies and cross-selling opportunities between the systems.
Analysts predict the coupling of the two independent sites will generate a noticeable increase in player conversion of sportsbook customers to online poker. As part of the agreement, Betsafe will also beef-up marketing initiatives for its online poker market, which should lead to an even bigger increase in conversion rates.
"Anytime you can integrate separate offerings and enhance the user-experience at the same time, you are adding value to your products", says Clyde Milford, a gaming enthusiast from Calgary.
