WSOP Sponsors Jockey for Position

Everest Poker announced today it has signed a multi-year promotional deal with the World Series of Poker. Under the terms of the deal, Everest Poker will be a featured sponsor of the WSOP and will enjoy a logo position on the "felt" of every table in the competition. In recent years, WSOP popularity has exploded. Last year's winner, Jerry Yang, took home $8,250,000 million in prize money.
The event is by far the most popular poker tournament in the world. It takes place in late summer and draws over 50,000 participants from around the world competing for a prize pool of approximately $150 million. The tournament is aired to over 350 million households worldwide during over 2700 broadcast hours.
Recently, Everest Poker has become one of the world's most popular poker sites, and was named Poker Operation of the Year in 2007 by industry journal e-Gaming Review. As one of the top online poker rooms in Europe, Everest provides a wide-array of services to it's visitors including free practice games where players can brush up on their skills before playing with real money.
