Online Casinos Send a Message to Barack Obama
GIBRALTAR --
As President-Elect Barack Obama prepares for his new career, online casinos are excited to work with a new American administration concerning international gambling law.
As you know, George W. Bush signed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) back in 2006, a new gambling law that prohibits Americans from making monetary deposits with offshore gaming sites.
In the past 2 years since the bill passed, many of these online casinos have gone bankrupt. Despite the financial crisis in the internet gambling industry, the stronger and more reputable casinos have remained.
With the change in administration coming in January, the remaining online casinos are anxious to work with Barack Obama on modifications to the UIGEA, or possibly dismissing the legislation altogether.
Barack Obama has promised a tax-cut to 95% of American citizens. Many pundits are asking how he will finance the tax-cuts, and work to balance the budget at the same time. The answer is really simple, tax-breaks will produce growth in the economy leading to higher government revenues. Without profits, the government has nothing to tax.
In addition, the US government could add a new tax on internet gambling wagers that could help fund important programs for education, the disabled, etc.
Many of the leading online casinos have already sent congratulatory messages to Mr. Obama on his election victory. Just three days since his win, Mr. Obama has obviously not had time to respond.

| One of the few things that Pres. Bush did right was to sign the UIGEA. The online casinos should be deleted fromthe web. Immoral parasites. |
