Joe Biden Son Quits Federal Lobbying for Internet Gambling
WASHINGTON D.C. --
Joe Biden and his son are advocates of internet gambling legalization, however, Hunter Biden and his lobbying firm have decided to stop public lobbying in Washington D.C. for internet gambling legalizaton. The political pressure over such a controversial issue could be political-suicide during an election-cycle.
"Hunter is playing politics with the issue, instead of standing up for internet gambling, he is taking a weak, center position", said one female online gambling activist upset over Biden's choice to halt his internet gambling lobbying.
It became official when Hunter Biden's company sent a letter to the Clerk of the House and the Senate Office of Public Records stating "they will no longer act as a Federal lobbyist".
As you know, Hunter Biden is the son of Barack Obama's vice-presidential running-mate, Joe Biden. Hunter, is Joe's second son, a well-known Federal lobbyist who created a lobbying company known as Oldaker, Biden & Belair, LLP.
The company, which recently has taken criticism from anti-gambling groups, has decided to stop lobbying altogethor, because of the political pressure. In addition to internet gambling, the firm was known to lobby on-behalf of other businesses across the country.
Citizens in favor of internet gambling, ones that were depending on Hunter and his lobbying firm to prevail, feel they have been let down by the group.
"He clearly flip-flopped on the issue, if his father was not on the VP ticket with Obama, then he would be more than happy to accept the money and lobby for internet gambling - now he is walking away from it, playing politics", she added.
Hillary Clinton supporters contend this is another reason why Joe Biden should be taken off the ticket, and replaced with Hillary. Pro-Hillary supporters, those who are also pro-gambling, would prefer Biden's son remain a lobbyist and place Clinton on the ticket as VP.
Many Clinton supporters have said Joe Biden belongs in the 'Nut House', not the White House.

| I guess they want to really lose the election, thank goodness for that! There are more than 12 million gamblers that a legal voting age. How do you think they will fare now? The UIGEA law made the Republicans lose the seats this year..now the Dems are going to lose this war! |
